Yogi
Tatjana Krizmanic is an artist and illustrator from Croatia and a Buddhist practitioner. We’ve had a long relationship with her. She takes great direction but always produces something original and creative. This was from a period when she was doing a lot of pastel illustrations. As usual, she managed to pack a lot into this work: the little shrine, the Rocky Mountains, a yoga lady and her mala, the incense, a poster, a cat, a Santa Fe rug. Her pieces are always so very festive and cheerful, celebratory you might say. –Liza Matthews Yogi was commissioned for the cover of our second annual yoga issue. Born in Zagreb, Tatjana started painting at age fourteen. Since her first exhibit in Boulder, Colorado, she has built a strong following, and her paintings reside in numerous private collections and museums.
