Tancook Island Schooner
Tancook is an island off the south shore of Nova Scotia. When we moved to Nova Scotia, we thought to open with an illustration of something particular to the area. Bill Gilkerson's brilliant maritime work hit the mark. He painted this Tancook Schooner especially for us to mark our arrival. It captures the adventure of coming upon a new shore magnificently. -Liza Matthews
