Love T-Shirt

Modeled here by Foundation staff this "Love" calligraphy was executed by Trungpa Rinpoche in 1978 at the event at which he proclaimed the Shambhala teachings. Love was in the air. The calligraphy has since been produced in print form for the Foundation's online gallery and was used in the January 1995 issue of the Shambhala Sun "to illustrate an article on, what else, love", says art director Liza Matthews. The Foundation then went on to make "Love" available in wearable form. The shirt was produced in 2009 to celebrate the Shambhala Sun, "For 30 years the best of Buddhism in America."
